OVERVIEW

The Red Butte Garden Orangerie Connector Renovation included selective demolition and reconstruction of the connector between the Red Butte Garden Visitor Center, and the Orangerie. The facility was occupied during construction and careful coordination with the construction schedule and Red Butte’s Event schedule was critical to the success of the project.

The project included Architectural Concrete, new Storefront Systems and Glazing, Roofing modifications including a Green Roof, upgraded Lighting and Mechanical Systems. The construction footprint was extremely tight and limited, and had to be well maintained to allow access into the facility at all times.

An addition to the project was the new ADA patio to the North West to allow for additional expansion of the Garden Pathways.
