OVERVIEW

Gramoll Construction has been selected by Utah State University through a Value Based Selection Process as the Construction Manager/General Contractor on the USUE Price Campus Misc. Capital Improvements project.
Package B consists of three separate projects the Utah State University Eastern campus in Price, Utah.
Subcontractor and Supplier bids are requested on the USUE Price Campus Misc.

Projects Package B bids are due to Gramoll Construction by Monday, July 29, 2019 at 3:00 PM.

The three projects this package consists of are the MCC Utilities Upgrades, the Site Lighting and the BDAC Steam Replacement.  The details of each of these projects and their associated drawings are included below.

INDIVIDUAL PRICING PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED EACH PROJECT SEPARATELY. BIDS FOR THE SITE LIGHTING PORTION OF WORK NEED TO BE SUBMITTED ON THE BID FORM PROVIDED.

THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT QUESTIONS AND THE FINAL ADDENDUM DATE HAVE BEEN MOVED UP.  THE BID DATE AND TIME HAVE NOT CHANGED.  THE NEW BIDDING SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ONLY AFFECTS PACKAGE B.  THERE IS NO CHANGES TO PACKAGE A’S BIDDING SCHEDULE.

  • Last Day to Submit Questions – Wednesday, July 17th by 4:00 PM.
  • Final Addendum (if needed) will be posted on Monday, July 22nd by 4:00 PM.

McDonald Career Center (MCC) Utilities Upgrade

    • Project Description: The MCC Utilities Upgrade project consists of –
      • The removal the select portions of the existing steam heating system and equipment.
      • The installation of new steam heating system and equipment including a new heat exchanger.
      • The removal and replacement of power for the Steam Heat system and equipment.
    • Special Notes:
      • The Mechanical Contractor may be selected through a Value Based Selection Process (to be clarified by addenda if needed).

Steam Replacement to BDAC

    • Project Description: The BDAC Steam Replacement project consists of –
      • Saw cutting and removal of select portions of concrete, asphalt and landscaping.
      • Remove the existing steam line and replace with a new steam line.
      • Patching and repairing concrete paving, asphalt paving, and landscape and irrigation.
    • Special Notes:
      • The Mechanical Contractor may be selected through a Value Based Selection Process (to be clarified by addenda if needed).
